Other websites of Interest
Here are some creationist websites that I have found helpful. Many of them have links to yet more creationist websites and resources.
The Geoscience Research Institute: GRISDA.org
GRI was established in 1957 by the Seventh-day Adventist church to study origins issues. GRI has a helpful "Links" section, as well as a "news" section that links to creation/evolution and science news stories. Ben Clausen updates the "news" every week day, except when he is on vacation, or doing something else.
Answers in Genesis: Answersingenesis.org
Answers in Genesis began as a creationist ministry in Australia in the 1970s. The President, Ken Ham, moved to the U.S. and set up headquarters in northern Kentucky, near Cincinatti, Ohio. Answers in Genesis is by far the most dynamic creationist ministry; it is building a multi-million dollar creationist museum at its headquarters. Their website has many helpful articles and resources.
The Institute for Creation Research: icr.org
ICR was founded in 1970, with its headquarters near San Diego, California. ICR has a good website and works with most of the leading creationist scientists on research projects.
The True.Origins Archive: trueorigin.org
A site that was put up to rebut the famous "talk Origins" Darwinist site. Contains some very high quality articles on science and apologetics.
Creation Ministries International: Creationontheweb.com
This is a site run by Australian creationists, mostly refugees of the recent civil war at "Answers-in-Genesis" (See my 12/19/06 "news" post)
The Earth History Research Center: origins.swau.edu
This is Dr. Arthur Chadwick's site. He is a professor at Southwestern Adventist University who has done significant work in the field. Dr. Chadwick supervises an ongoing annual dig in the Lance Formation of eastern Wyoming, and is acquiring a large collection of upper Cretaceous dinosaur bones.
Access Research Network: arn.org
ARN is an Intelligent Design organization. The site has good articles and links to all the principal ID theorists.
Creation-Evolution Headlines: creationsafaris.com/crev200609.htm
The headlines page discusses recent scientific news. Quotations from the articles are in blue, the commentary is in green. The link is to September '06, but to get the most recent headlines, just go to creationsafaris.com and click on "news." I'm not certain who does the commentary (I think it is David Coppedge), but it is usually excellent.
Revolution Against Evolution: rae.org/
Great links and essay pages at this site.
Amazing Discoveries: amazingdiscoveries.org
Walther Veith earned a Ph.D. in zoology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He is now associated with an independent Adventist ministry, "Amazing Discoveries." This is a general site with a wide variety of material, including extensive materials on biblical prophecy, but it also covers the creation/evolution topic, and Veith has written a book entitled, "The Genesis Conflict."
Biblical Creation Society: biblicalcreation.org
The Biblical Creation Society is a British creationist organization established in 1976. I haven't explored the site extensively, but it looks good at first glance.
Tas Walker's Page: uq.net.au/~zztbwalk/
Tas Walker is an Australia geologist.
Global Flood.org: globalflood.org
Site of Dr. John Baumgardner, famous for his catastrophic plate tectonics model.
Creation Wikipedia: creationwiki.org/Main_Page
Creation Wikipedia site, fairly new.
Center for Origins Research & Education: originsresearch.org
A ministry offering creationist seminars and media materials.
Creation Compass: creationcompass.com
Website of Dr. Donald Chittick, a retired physics Ph.D who now lectures on creation/evolution issues. He is one of very few creationists who emphasize the advanced nature of early humanity.
